is it must to have MSN or hotmail account in the Live Mail Desktop?!! why i can't just add any account same as Outlook Express?!! i tried to delete the hotmail account but did not allow me.

what if i don't have and i don't want to have a hotmail account but i want to configure another POP3 or IMAP account just like i was doing on Outlook Express?

You can still register any other account as a Windows Live ID and then use it. I have a @aim.com email for this purpose...
